She decided to try SmartGrow because it is all natural and would like to grow potted ornamentals with out applying fertilizers.  Laurel, used a potting mix and stepped up the plants to a larger and more attractive pot. After nearly 3 months (7/29/07-9/21/07) there was a noticeable difference in the size and quality of the plants.  Thanks SmartGrow! I'll continue to use and support your product. SmartGrow mats are available in several convenient sizes and work equally well with all types of plants, indoors or outdoors. Simply place a SmartGrow mat at the bottom of a container or hole, insert the plant, and add soil and water. The mat may also be used in a top application where it acts as a natural barrier to weed growth.
